Fertilizing.
Most yards in Eastern Idaho are starved for nitrogen by July and dumped on with the wrong stuff in October. We run a per-season schedule that actually works on Idaho soil — and we measure the rate, no guessing.
What's included
Scope.
The full list of what's in a fertilizing job with us. No upsells hiding in the fine print.
01
Spring wake-up.
Early slow-release nitrogen once the lawn is actively growing — usually mid-April here. Gets the color back without forcing a soft growth flush.
02
Summer maintenance.
Late June top-up with iron + balanced nutrients. Keeps the green through the August heat without pushing growth your mower can't keep up with.
03
Fall winterizer.
Late September or early October — this is the most important round of the year. Builds root reserves for spring.
04
Granular, broadcast spreader.
Calibrated walk-behind spreader, not a hose sprayer. Coverage stays even and the rate is measurable per thousand square feet.
05
Customized to your lawn.
Bluegrass and fescue blends each want slightly different rates. We adjust per yard, not per neighborhood.
How it goes
Process.
Four steps from "I'd like a quote" to "lawn looks great."
01
Soil + lawn read.
First visit we look at color, thickness, and which grasses you've got. Tells us what's missing.
02
Per-round flat price.
Each round is a flat number based on square footage. Buy them individually or sign up for the year.
03
Right timing.
We time rounds to the lawn, not the calendar. Cold spring? We push the first round. Long fall? We get a winterizer in late.
04
Water plan.
After every application we tell you how to water for the next 48 hours so the granules actually do their job.

Common questions
FAQ.
Nope. Front lawn, back lawn, side — we just need access. We text when we're done and when it's safe for pets and kids to be back on the grass.
Granular fert: as soon as it's watered in, which we usually do or ask you to do that night. Pets back on the lawn the next day.
We can do straight granular conventional or a mostly-organic blend if you ask. Just say what you want when you call — we'll quote either.
You can, but rate-calibrating a walk-behind spreader is the part most homeowners get wrong — too heavy in one strip, missed in another. That's where the lawn streaks.
